BOOK RELEASE NEWS

Hi Everyone,
My new book is now available online at Amazon (visit my website for the link -- they are offering an introductory special so you will save on the release price) and will be in stores by late November -- mid December, 2011. I am absolutely beside myself, which makes it difficult to do a lot of things, but hey, I can get used to anything. So if you are even the slightest bit interested in what this ancient and highly accurate practical and esoteric system has to say about you and your name and your destiny -- just click on my picture.
By the way, the title is CHALDEAN NUMEROLOGY: HOW YOUR NAME REVEALS YOUR TRUE NATURE & LIFEPATH. This is placed under the banner of the beginner's series (in the company of Scott Cunningham, my honour), which is just another way of saying it is the easiest book you will ever read on this complex system. You will be able to figure yourself out and then some...very exciting and a very new way of looking at an old and sacred system.
Blessings, Namaste

Cadillac, Buick or Bug?

To the person (who shall remain anonymous!) asking about the energies of their cars matching the energies of their names...I thought it is a good question and an excellent example of how different aspects of the life should ideally all balance. Your example of a 'Cadillac' (1 value) would be well matched with other 1 energies or other 'power' images, such as the 8 or Master 22.

So, yes, indeed, the car you are driving should ideally match your vibes (your key vibrations, like Daily Name and or Lifepath) -- after all, it is the one 'thing' in which you are the most vulnerable while out and about. However, the make and model are not all the important...as long as the main name of the car matches your key energies (especially your Lifepath), you will be in sync.

People do not realize the importance of such seemingly small details, but they make up the whole picture: if the various parts of your life are all showing various and sundry differing energies: some which flow and other which obstruct, well...it could be why you have the regular theme of conflict or anger occurring in the home and life in general. Like Feng Shui, Chaldean numerology is about the flow of energy and how best to use it...and also how best to make it work for you...and choosing cars, additions to your home, pets and even the number of the home you are living in or the one you are thinking of buying are all very important whether the goal is serenity in the home or safety on the road.

Hope that answered your question!

Reappearing symbols -- what do they mean?

Okay, so here's another thing I have experienced along my road...or path, if you like. It is rather interesting and I can't help but wonder if others have experienced similar oddities.
A few days ago, I began noticing the recurrence of a pattern that I have seen before. This pattern always leads to major life changes of one kind or another and involves the symbols which surround us every day. For you, it could manifest as noticing a particular sign, number, letter, word, shape, animal: anything which strikes you as out of the ordinary due to its repetitiveness and the (usually) short period of time during which it occurs. I call this symbology: the awareness of what is around us and using all of our senses in more advanced ways...for example, let's you are sitting in front of the telly and absentmindedly thinking about your visit to the dentist the next day. You hate dentists. Well, not dentists, exactly: rather, their big drills and poky instruments. Anyway, you are just thinking 'I hope it is easy and painless' and at that precise moment, a voice on the TV echoes those exact words: 'easy and painless'.
Not only is this not a coincidence, it is a perfect example of parallel energies which serve to either reassure or warn us, depending on the circumstances or situations. This is what occurs when we 'tune into' the material and sensory world that surrounds us every day and is filled with a variety of forms of synchronicity and symbology. In the above example, if you are aware of symbology, you will smile and be immediately reassured that your visit with the dentist will indeed be easy and painless.
Symbology involves using all of our senses to become hyper-aware of what is happening around us and how objects and activities can and do relate to our own lives. This observation can take the form of numbers, shapes, particular animals or symbols, words...anything that sticks in your mind or strikes you as out of the ordinary based on the number of times it is seen or when it is heard (which is simply another category of symbology).
For me, it is license plates bearing my initials. All of my initials. (Of course, there are countless other examples, like when I asked Spirit about a shift in my totem medicine and an owl appeared...more than once and in many different ways...but that's another story!)
Over the years, there have been several separate and distinct occasions (usually lasting a few weeks) when it seemed like almost every other car I saw had a license plate bearing my initials. Some might say, yeah, so what? Well, give it a try. See how many times you see a car with your complete set of initials on it, or even your date of birth. Not often, this I can almost promise you (I say 'promise' because you might be another one who experiences the same thing I do).
Anyway, here's the thing.
In the past, these strange occurrences were always followed by a major shift in my life. Something big would happen: I would move suddenly, find or change my job, meet someone who would prove to change my life, lose someone I cared for through death or a distant move...the point is that their appearances always preceded a rather major shift in the direction of my life.
And I have started seeing them again.
I wonder what's coming this time? It is exciting to me as I know it is one of the ways Universe communicates to and with me...and that 'something' is coming...it's almost like Christmas. It's the thrill of not knowing what's in the box, when it will arrive, what it will contain and how it will affect my lifepath. And whether or not I will like it.
Anyone have any similar experiences?

Adoptive Parents? Whose energy do you have?

Thanks to Sally Ann for the question (which I answered as a comment, but I think might be more effective here - still getting the hang of this!)...the question was whether the biological parents will have any bearing or effect on someone after having been adopted, given your adoptive parents names and being raised by them.
The answer, in a nutshell, is no.
Your energy is ascertained by looking at your current name energy -- not one which you may or may not have carried or been exposed to years ago. The name you currently use is the only one of importance...it is only when you use your biological parent's names on a daily basis that the energies in those names will effect and connect with you.
As far as the energy 'impact' of those who created you -- that is found in your Lifepath, which is yours and yours alone and is specified in your day and date of birth: the biological make-up of your parents has nothing to do with Universe's goal in you being here, spiritually speaking, of course!
So, as I said already, relax, Sally Ann...you are your adoptive parent's kid!

Hugs, Heather

Questions about CHALDEAN NUMEROLOGY?

This would be the place to have them answered! My name is Heather Lagan and I am a Chaldean Numerologist who has even written a book on the subject. Ask me what you will and I will do my best to answer you. Failing that, have a look at my website for more info or clarification on the meanings of the letters and numbers and how this original system of numerology works.

If everything is energy, what's in YOUR name? More intriguing: what's your Lifepath number: what it is you are supposed to be learning/doing/being while here? It's a fascinating and ancient art that is mystic in tone, spiritual and very accurate...eerily so, sometimes.

For example, two things I have always known about myself are that I once had a tendency to avoid commitments of any kind and that I have always been and always will be interested in the metaphysical side of life. These two things naturally manifested (as a young adult especially) as an aversion to 9 to 5 jobs -- who wanted to work when there were all of these unsolved mysteries floating around??
Once I did my numbers, many things came into focus and made sense, but two things in particular caught my attention.
I imagine that all of you have heard one thing or another about the energies held in the number 13, right? It has a somewhat superstitious overtone -- one of karma, bad luck and even outright evil (the 13th member of a witches' coven is, after all, supposed to be the devil himself)...maybe that is why it has also long been associated with witches and is even called the 'witch's' number.
Well, I have so many of these precious double digits in my name and chart that it pushes the limits of believability. While 'witch' is not a word I would use to describe myself (other than perhaps as a 'white' one), it certainly makes sense when I look at the history of my life to date, which has been all about the unseen and unexplained. My favorite shows when I was a kid were the Twilight Zone, Lost in Space (remember that one?) and Star Trek...all shows about the shadowy and unknown...oh, I forgot Dark Shadows!! Loved that show. Barnabas was just too chill for TV.
The practical meaning of the number 13 can be broken down into two parts: the first is the driving force that the number 1 represents and the second is the physical (and mental) activity of the number 3. Put these together and you have a driving force that can wreak havoc or goodness. Therefore, the number 13 can produce excellent results or highly negative and destructive ones. The use of the power assigned is up to the name holder.
The 13 totals to a 4, which is fundamentally grounded, so the actions (1) taken by virtue of the 3 lead to a base or foundation upon which something is built. Typically, the 4 signifies someone who is responsible, practical, methodical and dedicated to hard work and routine...(think the 4 seasons, 4 directions, 4 winds etc), however, it can also point out the need for these characteristics to manifest.
As mentioned, I had an aversion to work. But who paid the bills? That was one of my main issues; one of my main life lessons: to take responsibility (4) for the self. The other is more of a theme of acceptance: I will always be a metaphysician...that will never change. And it is also part of the reason I am here: to delve into and understand and perhaps even share and teach what is learned along the way...
Does anyone else have numbers that seem to show up over and over in their life?

Happy Monday!
Heather

Chaldean Numerology

Hi there...after reviewing many posts from different sites about the various numerology systems, I decided to offer a place for comments and questions for those interested in the ancient art of Chaldean numerology. Some say this system is not really Chaldean -- my response is that all things adjust to change and incorporate different aspects into their original design -- since this system is originally from Chaldea and its sound/energy format is fundamentally the same as it was thousands of years ago when initially created...it is still Chaldean. Its messages, process of analysis and structure is unique as is its consideration of the energies held in the hieroglyphics of letters...compare results using (for example) the Pythagorean chart and then those arrived at by using the Chaldean one. Chances are very good that the latter will resonate with you more.
Has anyone tried this?
If you have any questions, ask them here or visit my website for further clarification!
Blessings,
